First of thanks for the quick reply, now my only concern about the corner bead being tacked in that it wont have anything to sink into for a good hold. All the plaster around is pretty thick and there isnt a solid wood surface to nail in to.


Now would this work:

Do my plaster until its even with the quater round then coat the rounded edge with joint compound, thus allowing me to sand smooth? Or should I just try the corner bead?
