The most common place for loud screeching sounds (if that's what the sounds are) to come from on that dryer design is the rear drum bearing worn and the metal shaft (see the following link) rubbing on the metal bearing support plate. If left grinding away too long, the drum shaft can get cut right in half allowing the drum to drop right off.

Other possibilities may include worn front drum support bearings and seal (see the link below), the idler (belt tension) pulley or the motor itself (as HayZee518 suggested). Someone would need to look into it to see what the problem is in your case.
