Hi everyone. My win98se is corrupt and it will be difficult to repair all issues one by one so I am going to reinstall 98se. I have the cd, start up diskette and key code. My question is "do I need to uninstall the 98se currently running before I go thru the install procedure?".
I ask because I followed the good instruction @
www.windowsreinstall.com/indexwin98.htm but cannot procede to the second step because DOS tells me drive C does not contain a valid FAT or FAT 32. It lists suggestions to fix but I tried them and they do not fix the issue. If I uninstall everything first, wouldn't the hard drive be clean and empty and I could install with no problems?
Any comments and suggestions is appreciated. Vince
