It doesn't necessarily mean "brand new" although if someone had just replaced a 15-20 year old model, it would likely be the first time they've ever heard many of the listed sounds.

I'm afraid i do not know what solutions Frigidaire suggests for whatever model of Frigidaire refrigerator you have. You may have to check with them or one of their factory authorized service depots (after supplying the appliance's exact model number) to see what they suggest. Whatever it is, it will only be *an attempt* to eliminate the sound. There is no guaranty with these newer fridge designs I'm afraid.
