I just put a new blower motor in my AC to replace a motor that was still working, but was smelling "burnt" intermittently.
The new motor does not start (just hums), but will start if I manually give the fan a push.

Does this indicate a bad capacitor (rating was the same for old motor, 5 mfd 370 vac)?
