I'm installing a toiled in my basement and was wondering if I should install the toilet flange directly onto the concrete slab or if I should install my ceramic tile first and then install the flange on top of the ceramic tile. Or does it really matter. Also once installed should I use anchor bolts to attach it to the slab. I watched a DIY installation on TV recently and they simply glued the toilet flange to the closet fitting in the slab and didn't use any bolts to attach it to the slab.
