Laundry tub pump problem

I have a basement where my washer and dryer are along with the heating unit. There is a laundry tub that the washer water dumps into and the water from the ac and humidifier. The main sewer is about 6 ft higher than the tub. The drain line of the tub has a pump connected underneath it that looks a little like an old style tea kettle, it's part cast iron and shuts off and turns on at certain levels of water. The water than flows from a pipe connected to it up to the sewer. Lately it has been going out very very slowly. I snaked out the sewer but noticed that the water going out was not pumping up fast at all. The water in the tub has a nice whirlpool like as if it was going fast, but it seems like it is just spinning. Anyone have any solutions for me or where I can purchase another pump like this and about what it would cost for the pump? I have not seen any of these in the local supply stores. Thanks in advance for any and all help
