screening hardwood floors
Thinking of having hardwood floors screened - what questions do I need to ask of professionals? Finish is shellac that has been covered with carpet for more than 25 years, has very old paint spatters in areas, some stains that look surface and some into wood. Don't expect perfection, just want a more even finish and to protect wood.
Stairs are oak, very worn, finish gone in walk path.
