refrigeration occurs when there is a difference in pressures as in a thermal expansion valve and evaporator manifold or the orifice that is formed where the high pressure gas enters the low pressure evaporator where heat is absorbed and the gas turn to a high temperature liquid. the heat laden liquid flows through the condenser where heat is given off and the liquid changes back to a low pressure gas which enters the compressor to be compressed again.
