More than likely the clog is not in your disposal!! In the past my diposal has done the same and come to find out the clog is within the pipes around it. Some houses have an outside outlet that will allow a plumbing snake, older houses you may have to snake it from under the sink. My suggestion is stop the Drano and go with the snake.
