Linoleum Removal Question
I have an older home that was built in the 1920's. In my kitchen I have wood floors under 2 layers of limoleum. Part of the first layer of limoleum is paisly and was a popular design in the 1970's. I think the second layer is at least 10 years old. A few questions:
1. What is the proper technique to remove both layers of limoleum?
2. What tools do I need to do this job (crow bar to remove side panels, etc.)?
3. Given the age of the first layer of linoleum, is there anything i can do to prevent it from taking part of the wood when io remove it (e.g., heat up the adhesive, etc.)?
Thanks in advance for your input.
