Compressor overhauling

One DWM Copeland Compressor for overhauling but the problem we have only 3 old or used conrod and piston with available new piston rings. Is it possible to use it for the mean time, will it last longer?

I would like also to know if you can make a special control to see the correct superheat of the system? Also in addition what is the required reading in megaohm for a compressor to still be in the operating time?

What is also the frequency to have it done by acid test?

Thank you in advance,

Regards,

Serge
