Frig Leak..........

Tonight I found a leak under the refrigerator(GE side by side). The water is coming from the line that runs up the door to the water and ice despenser and is leaking on the the floor from the bottom right corner of the door. Has anyone ever had to fix this if so is it hard to do?

I have not repaired such a problem on a G.E. but I have on other brands.
Maytag, Whirlpool, Frigidaire...

You may have to replace the line that runs up the door.
I have seen were cats or other pets chew on the plastic water line.

Sometimes they are easy to replace sometime a real pain.

If I had to guess I would expect GE to be a pain and parts to be $$.

The plastic line uses plastic compression fittings. It's not hard to do - go slow and don't reef down on the fittings. If its too tight, you can deform the compression seals enough to cause a bigger leak.
