not hot enough

I wonder if someone can help me here,I have a dryer and no matter how long I have it spinning my clothes dont seem to be drying.I open it up it feels hot but the clothes are still very damp.Is there something I can check with my dryer to see what the problem is.Thanks

If your hubby is handy have him check the overloads that are in series with the burner element. If any of these are open, the heater won't work.

Any restriction in the air flow will cause the temperature to rise too high in the heater section and trip out the High Limit switch.

Check the hose to insure it is not clogged with lint, a kink in the vent hose or the outside vent flapper door stuck closed.
