Fridge refuses to work

<center></center>Just today i opened up my fridge to get something when my fridge made a big bang sound and the gas started leaking out and would like to know whats wrong since i'm straped for cash to get a new fridge

Big bang sound eh? - Bout the only thing I can figure is that the electrical connection seal failed and the wires touched and blew out the compressor. The gas escaped through this seal. Better find a job quick or invest in dry ice!
