Leaky Badger 5

I bought a Badger 5 almost 3 years ago. I have a leak on the bottom right where of what looks like to be some kind of small plate thats screwed in is. Except the leak is not coming from the screw. Any idea on what to do? Thanks

The small plate is covering the electrical connections. Are you sure the disposer isn't leaking from up above at either the sink flange connection or at the drain connector on the side and then running down and dropping off at the bottom near that plate. Get a flashlight and run the water while looking close and feeling for any moisture at the connections. Now run the disposer and check again.

If after checking these other connections and you've determined the leak is actually comming out from under the electrical plate at the bottom then your disposer is probably toast.
