sink disposal "tooth"
Recently a corn-on-the-cob prong was mistakenly chewed in the disposal and dislodged the disposal grinding mechanism. I've looked down into the disposal to see if i could reattach the bolt holding the "tooth" in place, but the nut was on the other side of the spinning piece i also tried to see a way to dismantle the unit to rebolt the "tooth" down but found no solution. Is there a way to rebolt these pieces?
thanks--

reaginp
Welcome to the Home Repair Forums
As for repair I have never repaired a disposal unit, Just replaced. You can check the Manufactures web site for authorized servicer in your area. Depending on its age it may or may not be covered. I know they are hard to get into.
