garbage disposal problem

Sometime during the last few weeks, our disposal will not start after turning it on via the wall switch. After hitting the reset button, the disposal will work when using the wall switch. As soon as I turn the switch off and try it again, the disposal doesn't work. I have to again reset first.

You reset the motor then use it and then you reset the motor then use it. Its a repetitive cycle, You have a motor that gets hot and goes out on overload every time when you use it. If its a few years old or you don't know how old it is you need to replace it. They are not that costly and simple to replace!
