Maytag icemaker dripping water

I have a Maytag top-mount fridge model# MTB1954ARW, installed with an aftermarket icemaker model# UKI1000AXX 8 years ago. The icemaker is still making ice but has started dripping water. Is there anything I can do to fix it. If not, is it easy to install a replacement icemaker? Thanks for your help.

A start will be trying to determine *exactly* where the leak it is originating. If you post that, someone may be able to offer further suggestions.

It would likely be less complicated but definitely shouldn't be any harder than was installing the original.

That isn't an 'after market' product, it is a genuine Maytag part. It is however an optional accessory for your model. The current replacement kit is # UKI1500AXX (see the link below). Not all the parts in the kit would need to be installed.
