Maytag DWU9200BAB fills, drains, doesn't wash

I assume the thing is clogged somehow. I am trying to take the lower spray arm/ motor cover/whatnot assembly off. I got the screws out OK. The whole assembly moves up and down a fraction of an inch, but it won't lift off. It looks like the center tower should come off, but it doesn't budge, and I don't see how it is attached. Does it screw on?

Besides having parts they also show exploded diagrams on taking apart your appliance and possible "what's wrong" helps

OK, I went there, but I don't see anything but lists of parts. Where are the diagrams?

OK, I got it all apart. The center tower unscrews, after you clean out the accumulated gunk.

So, I took it apart, and cleaned out every bit of soap and calcium that I could, which was a lot. Cleaned the top arm the same way. Got it back together, and fired it up, and,.... nothing. Water comes out of all the holes, including the ones on the sides of both arms, but neither arm is turning.

So, what gives? What else am I overlooking?

** Where are the diagrams? **

You can see actual exploded parts views for your appliances at the following link. The other site only has generalized exploded views to illustrate some of the common parts of appliances (plus photos of many of the parts themselves).

LINK > Maytag DWU9200BAB Exploded Parts Views

** Water comes out of all the holes **

In the very center where it rotates on and/or the spray tower attaches?

** including the ones on the sides of both arms **

You don't mean the joint between the top and bottom half of the arm do you? The seam between the two halves should be sealed but can separate allowing leaks.

** What else am I overlooking? **

Loss of water pressure somewhere. If water is coming out where it shouldn't be, there won't usually be enough left to turn the arm(s). Another possibility may be the pump just not pumping enough but a leaking wash system is more common.

BTW. If needed, you can get the service manual for Maytag's DWU... series of dishwashers at the following link:
