kenmore dryer noise

I have a kenmore dryer about five years old which recently started making a sort of growning-sqeaking noise while its in use.it's not continual but fairly regular and it last for less than a second at a time.Often odd or new noises are clues to a problem, if so any suggestions on what to do.The dryer works fine orther than the noise
