disposal

hi,
my badger disposal is doing something similar...
it hums but doesn't spin, then shuts off. turns freely with allen wrench from below. Any advice?

16x80 is an unknown quantity at this point

Its a good possibility your disposal is shot! How old is it? These things don't last forever!
