what brand of fridge is recommended?

By any chance does anyone recommend a good fridge? I'm looking for a fridge right now and cannot decide on what to get. At first, I was about to purchase a GE profile model#pss26ngscc(model # for the bisque but i wanted the stainless steel) side by side stainless steel for $ 1900 at sears. but I got another price at a smaller appliance store for a kitchaid stainless steel, counterdepth, side by side model# kscs23inss for $2000. then someone else recommended kenmore elite. so i'm very confused right now. kitchenaid does not have good reviews. what do you guys recommend? I need to decide by tomorrow b/c i've been taking a long time looking around. thanks! any suggestions would be great!!

I would purchase a KitchenAid product (which is made by Whirlpool) hands down over a GE product, especially GE's electronic controlled refrigerators.

Kenmore refrigerators could be made by any number of different manufacturers. There's no way to tell which unless you get the complete model number *right off the appliance's model and serial number identification tag* (see the following link) or the sales person can and is willing to tell you.

The main problem with buying a "kenmore" product is you have to call Sears for service. For just about any other brand, you will probably have a choice of several different service depots to choose from (see the following link) when repair times comes around.
