Whirlpool Washer

I have the opportunity to trade my elderly Maytag washer (15-20 years old) but very reliable for a newer (5 years old) Whirlpool Heavy Duty washer. Should I do it? I've always had Maytags.

Dan O. is an unknown quantity at this point
If the other washer has some feature(s) you really need/want or your old one is not working properly, than it might be a good trade. If however the existing washer is filling your needs and is not in immediate need of repair, most service technicians I know would usually advise you to keep it... depending on the exact model of machine. Even if it needed minor repairs, it still might be advised to keep it and have it repaired.

I doubt you'll ever find a washer of that quality again (depending on the exact model of the Maytag you have).
