Need help with dryer

Ok I have an electric Ge dryer and its about 6 yrs old. When I go to turn it on it make a buzzing noise but won't turn on. It stops when I let the button go. Any ideas as what may be causing this and how to fix it. It was fine yesterday?

Not without knowing the exact model of GE dryer you have. If you post that information we may be able to suggest what components it uses which might cause problems.

You can find tips for locating the model and serial number identification tag on your appliances in the 'Repair Parts' section of my web site linked at the bottom of the page.
