Awful Noise from Garbage Disposal

Ok, here's the problem....

My In-Sink-Erator Pro SS disposal is "technically" working - it turns on & off, grinds food, drains properly, etc. However, it makes a horrendous metal-on-metal grinding noise when it runs.

I looked in there with a flashlight, cleared out a couple stray pieces of food, but found no foreign objects and couldn't see anything that would be grinding around in there.

Any ideas on what it could be?

I'm also having this problem. Did you get your problem resolved? If so, what did you do?
