whirlpool lg7811xp dryer
need to replace belt, idler, support rollers, and bearing ring.
How do I open top of dryer- I removed the two screws securing the filter but top doesn't want to slide forward. Is there anything on the rear of the dryer that needs to be removed? What else needs to be removed to access the rollers etc.? |

whirlpool LG7811XPNO to Dan O
Thanks for the response. I am still trying to understand how to post and respond so bear with me. The complete mod. no is above.
Is this gas dryer worth repairing? Cabinet is in excellent shape and everything else is working. A new dryer will run approx. $450. Should be able to buy repair parts for $70. or so. What do you think? I hate throwing stuff away. Paul |

There is a link in the menu at the bottom of most of my site pages that says "Support Appliance411". Thanks for the vote of confidence!
