GE 'fridge ice maker issue...

Hi. My wife pointed out a cracked item on the icemaker of the 'fridge.
'Fridge info:
GE model GSS25JFMCWW
serial FD244841
Need part # 197D2265POO3
CAV.2
>ABS<
Where might I be able to dig this up?

Which item?

When you say "icemaker", do you mean the thing that actually makes the ice cubes or are you referring to the ice dispenser (the part that moves the ice cubes from the cube bin to the door) or the ice and water dispenser on the front of the door??

I'm afraid that is a manufacturing number of something but not a "part number". Those manufacturing numbers are not usually traceable to actual part numbers (which is what is needed to order replacement parts).

Ice maker part...

Hi, Dan O. I contacted the appliance repair site that's at the bottom of this Forum's page and they Speedily!! set back a reply showing the exploded pic. I have replied to them about the part needed. Hopefully I can get this part and get it repaired soon for her. Thanks so much for all your help.
By the way, in a past post you helped me get a part for our kitchen stove. It's still working well. Thanks again for your help.
