Maytag Refrig Ice Maker / Water disp msd2556aew

I have a Maytag refrig Model msd2556aew . When I dispense water from the door , the water in the ice maker also dispense some causing a overflow in the freezer..
Is this a problem with the values or the circut board?

Dan O. is an unknown quantity at this point
There are 2 separate 'dual' water valves used on fridge models where water is filtered for both the dispenser and the icemaker. Just one solenoid of each valve should be energized when either function is activated. If both are, it would need to be looked into to try to determine why.

Frigidaire refrigerator models used inline diodes in the wiring harness to such valves to prevent power from getting to the wrong side of the valve at the wrong time. When those diodes shorted, power could be sent to both at the same time creating the condition your described. I'm afraid I do not know what system is employed on your model to control the power flow to those valves, sorry.
