Old Maytag Fridge Stoped Working

I just bought an old (maybe 1980s ish) Maytag Fridge. It worked fine for the first three days. THen I unlugged it to clean it out. After cleaning it I plugged it back in and nothing happened. This lights turned on and it obviously had power but nothing else happened. I trided unplugging it and plugging it back in but nothing happens. It is not even attempting to turn on the compressor (no buzzing sounds or anything). Any suggestions. Sorry I do not have the model number handy but if it is necessary let me know and I will repost with it. Thanks

It is the only way we can find out what appliance type you're dealing with. Even if it wasn't absolutely necessary, it certainly wouldn't hurt anything if it were supplied just in case.

Did you try turning the control(s) up?

Maybe it just happened to be in a defrost cycle when unplugged and will need to time to advance into the cooling function again?
