Kenmore Dryer help

I am having some trouble with my Kenmore Elite Dryer. Its a gas dryer model# 7005 with touch panel controls. When I start the dryer after setting my timer and temp it wont keep the settings it reverts to high heat and the timer sets itself to 40 min. I am unable to turn the dryer off or change any of the settings after it starts. It also beeps 3 short beeps and a pause continualy. The dryer runs like this beeping until I unplug the dryer or the 40 min. run out. If anyone has any experence with this and knows what I might do to fix this please help.

There should be a sheet of paper inside the control panel.
It may help you out some more.
I think the three beeps is some kind of error code. The sheet will tell you.
It maybe a problem with a thermostat/thermofuse or the touch panel.

Hi! I am having the same problem with my Kemmore Elite Dryer. Did you ever figure out what was wrong with it???
