GE Profile Refrig model #pss26msrc

I have a GE Profile Artica refrigerator model #pss26msrc. The ice/water dispensor has stopped working. The actual ice maker appears to be still working. The switches on the door are not working. Also the temp. settings lights inside the refrigerator are not illuminated. The freezer and refrigerator are still working and keeping cool. Is there a switch or fuse that may be causing this problem?

Unhappy No fuse

** GE Profile Artica refrigerator model #pss26msrc **

That model number is incomplete. I found a listing for PSS26MSRCSS (the SS likely meaning Stainless Steel).

** Is there a switch or fuse that may be causing this problem? **

I'm afraid there is no fuse but a defective freezer door switch might stop operation of the dispenser. I would suggest you also check the wiring to the door. Maybe it has broken or become unplugged?

There are likely several electronic control boards which might be responsible as well. The dispenser interface board or the fridge's main control board (see the following links) might be suspect.

The control lights would have to be looked into. Check the unit's wiring diagram to see what powers them. If the main control board, it might be responsible for all the trouble. It's a real weak spot on those electronically controlled GE models.
