Dish & DirectTV

I have a single cable running into a hard to reach room in my house. Is there a way to send the Dish and DirectTv signals down the same cable and then split the cable to a Dish and a DirectTv receiver once it reaches the room?

You could try using two two set splitters between your LNBF dishes and the infeed cable - then re-split inside the house to your receivers.

You'll need to make up four small "extension" cables for connection between the LNBF and splitter AND between the inside splitter and receiver - use standard type "F" connectors available at Rad Shack. Either screw on type or crimp.
