buckscrape is an unknown quantity at this point
Memory Upgrade Problem

I just upgraded my IBM NetVista to 1g and ever since when booting up need to hit the f2 key to resume bootup I thought the computer would have no problems and just reboot as usual, the memory upgrade shows when you look at hard drive etc. thanks for the help

things to look for is the max your system will accept for a ram upgrade. next look to the system bios - if it can be upgraded via the flash eprom. next is the bus speed and if your mem upgrade has the correct speed. the mem could be ddram or sdram make sure its compatible.
