Computer shop diagnosed a start up problem on Dell Dimension desktop as a "bad motherboard." I decided to not have it repaired.
Is this very difficult, or even worth it trying to replace myself?
It isn't that hard, but it is hard to find an affordable replacement. Have you located a replacement motherboard? Sometimes they are cost prohibitive...
