dry carport

I'd like to install a new ipe wood deck over my carport. How to we keep our cars dry and clean? Considering a plastic gutter system that runs underneath, parallel to deck and is screwed to joist system. These curved gutters empty into a perpendicular gutter system connected to downspouts. Comments? Thanks.
