Deck Posts Set In Concrete
I pulled a permit for a 10'x40' deck in central Florida. The soil is sandy and well above the water table. I used Lowes deck designer for the plans. The plans called for the 4x4 PT posts to be set in 24" concrete footers. The footers were formed with the 8" concrete tubes.
Question: What is the life expectancy of 4X4 PT pine posts set in concrete?
