Can a Wood Deck be placed over uneven concrete Patio
We have a 28x28 concrete patio which was poured AROUND a sweetgum tree by the original owners (what were they thinking.) Over time, the tree roots have caused cracking and uneven quadrants. Is is possible to install a wooden deck over the existing concrete patio? We intend to move in the next 12-24 months and really don't want to spend alot of money. I've suggested mud-jacking to the hubby but he insists this is not a practical approach. Wouldn't a wood deck be cheaper than a new concrete patio?
Thanks! |
