Question Interlocking Brick Deck Repair

Greetings to all,

This is the first time I am using this forum. I looked over the forum and did not see this question so hear goes.

I have an interlocking brick patio and over time two areas have sunk allowing water to pool up. As far as I know the only way to repair this is to remove the bricks it thoughts areas, fill in with granite powder, level and compact. Then reset the bricks, cover them with sand and vibrate the area.

My question is this. New methods of attacking old problems are always evolving. Is there an easier and faster do-it-yourself solution to this one?

Thanks,
Jim
