Tanning bed

I bought an old tanning bed I want to wire into my house.
On the side of the unit it says.

120/240 vac 60Hz 3 wire
OR
120/240 vac 60Hz 2 phase with nutral
OR
120 vac 60 Hz 1 phase.

What the heck does this mean?

Thanks
