2005 Code Changes

Bathroom receptacles
It used to be a requirement to have a receptacle installed "in a wall" behind or adjacent to a wash basin. The 2005 change allows a recptacle to be installed "in a basin cabinet side" or "in front of and below a basin countertop, no more than 12 inches below the top."
So in lieu of putting in a receptacle in a wall you can now put it in the vanity cabinet. Of course it must be a GFCI type.
Also
Multifamily Dwellings - Side by side - An outdoor GFCI receptacle shall be installed in all multifamily dwellings "on the same grade level" no more than 6.5 feet above grade.
What this means if you have multiple condos on the same grade level, each dwelling unit (family) will have a GFCI installed.
If the multiple family units go up, say an apartment building a GFCI is required for the apartment at grade level but not the units above the grade level apartment (i.e. second, third floor etc)
Also
The neutral conductor of wires #6 and larger shall be permitted to be identified by a white outer insulation covering or by taping white or gray where they connect to utilization equipment

Thanks for the info Hazy. In case you're interested, here's a couple more links to show more 2005 changes. The first are the top 25 changes and the second link is really detailed in all the changes. Should be a good resource for anyone needing to know.
