AFCI plugs

Has anyone been having problems with nuisance tripping of the AFCI plug now used on window, wall, and PTAC air conditioners?

Is the problem usually related to building wiring or problems in the unit?

Make sure that all your ground wires are connected and properly grounded. I have had a lot of PTAC's with problems and it usually ends up being in the ground wire. If there is no ground wire run - there is your problem
