Drilling into wall that MAY have electrical wires

Hi Folks,

I ma wanting to hang a basket to hold my coil hose right out side my door to the backyard. I know there are electrical wire in the proximity but do not know how to try and track them to make sure I do not drill holes through the wall and through the wires. Any ideas of how to track these. I do not have any map or diagrams of the wiring . Thanks!

Look at the siding for the appearances of nailheads. An older house had the nails driven into the studs through the sheathing. Newer houses were just driven into the sheathing which was OSB or plywood.
Anybody takes chances of drilling into wires when fastening anything outside. There's no set rule for where the nails go.
