Halo Recessed Lighting Question

I was thinking about getting the Halo H7T
http://www.munroelectric.com/catalog/halo/h7icat.html
It says it has 7.5" depth. I went and measured my floor joists and I have about 7 1/4"
I assume the H7T will not work, right? I found some shallow mounting depth ones but they cost around 3 times as much. Any ideas? Thanks
