Cutting track lighitng with a hacksaw

I have a secton of track lighiting track that I would like to shorten. When I look at it, there's nothing obvious that sticks out as being a problem with using a hack saw to cut it down.

Am I missing something or can I just saw away to lop off the undesired length?

go ahead and saw away. use a blade that has 32 teeth per inch. if you can get 64 teeth per inch it would be better. track is aluminum, insulation is plastic or fiber and conductors are copper.
