Can't turn jacuzzi off?

Cannot use power button to turn off jacuzzi in the master suite. i first attributed it to my arthritis, but hubby cannot do it either. we've been using the access panel to plu & unplug. live in the middle of nowhere, so very few options for repair or tradesmen.

any suggestions what we should do?

(ie, do we need a plumber or an electrician? that will get me headed in the right direction)

Spa or whirlpool bath tub? Some more detail would help us help you.

If it is a tub then I bet the air line fall off the plunger switch. Look under the tub where the air switch is and look for a thin clear tube. The tub goes on a tiny bib under the air switch.

What is the difference? This is a corner unit tub in our bathroom. Thru the walk-in there is a panel to get to the plugs, etc. I think I'd call it a whirlpool bath.

What you have is technically a "hydro massage tub". Then there is a spa or package spa or hot tub.
Many people use the term "Jacuzzi" to describe either one. That is when it gets very confusing.

They are treated very differently in the eyes of the code.
