Fouresent Lightbulb

i just got a magnifying glass lamp that is supposed to use a 22 watt circular bulb. is it ok to use a higher watt bulb, maybe a 30 watt? the reason i ask
is i'm having a problem finding a 22 watt in my area.

no problem as long as the physical size isn't too big and the secondary current on the tube matches the output of the ballast.
