a bathroom outlet should be a ground fault circuit interrupter type an on a dedicated circuit. BUT sometimes they're not! if this is your case you'll need to check back along the line to see where it's connected. contractors have a habit of using "quick-wire" outlets to save time and money. these types have holes in the back where you just strip the end and push the wire inside. they're held inside by spring tension. yours may have vibrated loose either on the hot or the white wire. you'll have to play detective.
