Stove wire..
I (my wife!) have a Whirlpool self cleaning electric range (Model RF 364PXK). I need to run ~good~ wire to it. What gage should I use? There's a tag on it that claims 7.9 and 10.4 KW.

You can run either 8/3NM on a 40A breaker or 6/3NM on a 50A breaker.
Both will use a new "4-prong" 50A range receptacle and new cord.
