glue mist

my husband and i put down new tile over the weekend and was told to use a spray adhesive. the mist from the glue ended up on some of the tiles and we're sticking to the floor.. i've try numerous things but haven't found the right one.. can anyone tell me what might work to get glue mist off of tiles???

Debbie,

Welcome to the forum. Have you heard or seen the product "Goo-gone" I have used it with great success for removing most adhesives. Also you could contact the manufacturer and ask if they have a suggestion.

Lacquer thinner will take off the goo

Make sure that lacquer thinner won't attack that tile surface! Goof Off! or Goo-Gone are both good products and are a bit more mild than the thinner. Check any of them on a scrap piece...
